Her dad had left for work, busy as usual. Logan, well, wherever he was he was probably still asleep. So, she had maybe a whole hour to herself. She smiled and poured a packet of sugar into her coffee before sprinkling a little cinnamon on top. It was nice to get out of her dad's place, even if it was just for a minute. She picked up her bagel and headed for one of the tables outside. She wondered how long she was going to be here, hiding behind her father, keeping secrets. How long till her and Logan would find a middle ground. How long she'd keep pretending like this was just a weekend trip. She need to make some new friends to keep her mind off things, but that would be like giving up on her and Logan, saying she was going to stay here, and she wasn't sure about that either.
